Liz, Steph and I continued our adventure from Bruges to Liege! We mainly stopped in Liege to visit Primark. It's Liz's favorite store. It wasn't the experience we had anticipated. The store was PACKED with people; it was overwhelming. There were some interesting characters around the mall. I think we were all grateful to leave Liege.
We got back in the car mostly empty handed, to arrive at Kelsey's place in Klausen!!
Is this not the most adorable baby bump you've ever seen?! This girl is 6 months pregnant!
We got the whole tour of her house. It's adorable! She should be an interior designer. She has a cute, French country home.
That night we just sat around and caught up. I think all three of us were grateful to be able to stay in a place for more than one night. And we were happy to see our friend again!

The next morning Kelsey made us a delicious fruity monkey-bread. SO good! After we all freshened up, Kelsey took us on a tour of Bernkastel along the Mosel river.
The view on our drive...
I love the half-timbered houses in Germany.
We were all pretty hot and tired by this point, so we stopped and ate at a yummy Indian restaurant recommended by Kelsey. Man it was good! It's so nice to have something other than Italian food.
We strolled up near the top of the town and back down again.
Three hours was enough adventure for one day in that heat!
We went home and all took naps/spent some quiet time recouping. It was nice to finally have a 'down' day.
That night Kelsey cooked us green beans, shrimp quinoa, and popovers. She's quite the cook! It was so nice to have a homemade meal!
Kelsey really spoiled us!

The next morning these 5 little piggies went to the market in Tonegren, Belgium! Holy moly someone should have prepared me for it! Germans and Belgians know how to do markets. Their prices were so much better than Italian markets, and their items were adorable! I wanted everything!!
In just a few hours we did some pretty good damage.
Our loot!
We unloaded everything and then went on a walk around Kelsey's cute town. She enticed us with animals! Apparently, there were goats, horses, and sheep on her normal run.
We found some wild berries on our walk. Liz didn't hesitate to eat them. Every instinct in my body said, "Don't do it!!"
We came across a goat first. I don't know where the picture disappeared to.
Then we found the pony!
Last the sheep!
One of them had a fuzzy face. He looked like he had a furry mask on. Haha!
It was a great way to end the day! Kelsey had to go to work the next day, so it was the last time we'd get to visit with her. Booooo. It was so fun to see her though before she becomes a mommy!
